Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how CoRun Technology Inc., a Delaware corporation ("CoRun.ai", "we", "us" or "our") collects, uses and shares personal information when you visit corun.ai, fill out one of our forms, talk with our team, or use the CoRun.ai service. CoRun.ai is headquartered in Mountain View, California, and makes AI operations software for trucking fleets (motor carriers) and the insurance agents who serve them.

This policy is written for a business audience. Most of the people we hear from are fleet owners, safety and operations staff, and insurance agents contacting us on behalf of their company.

Information we collect

Information you give us

When you book a demo, sign up as an insurance agent, use our onboarding assistant, or contact us, we collect what you type into the form, such as:

  • your name, company or agency name, and job role
  • work email address and phone number
  • your company's USDOT number
  • the content of your messages, and answers to optional questions (for example fleet size or renewal month)

We also keep records of emails, calls and other communications you have with us.

Information collected automatically

When you visit our website, we and our service providers automatically collect:

  • the page you visited, the page that referred you, and campaign parameters in the link you clicked (for example UTM tags such as utm_source or utm_campaign, and ad click IDs)
  • device and browser information, IP address, approximate location derived from the IP address, and dates and times of visits
  • information from cookies, pixels and similar technologies (see Cookies and tracking)

Fleet data from connected systems

CoRun.ai works with your ELD and other systems your company chooses to connect. When a customer connects these systems, we receive and process fleet data on the customer's behalf. Depending on what the customer connects, this may include vehicle and trailer information, location and trip data, hours-of-service records, vehicle diagnostics, safety events, and driver names or IDs.

We process this data to provide the service to that customer, under our agreement with them. The customer decides what to connect and is responsible for giving any notices to, and getting any consents from, its drivers and staff that the law requires. If you are a driver or employee of one of our customers and have a question about your data, please contact your employer first. We will help them respond.

Public records

To set up agency and fleet profiles, we use public U.S. Department of Transportation and FMCSA data about motor carriers, such as USDOT number, registration details, fleet size and published safety and inspection records.

How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • respond to your requests, schedule demos and follow up about CoRun.ai
  • set up and run onboarding, and provide, support and improve the CoRun.ai service
  • help fleets and their insurance agents prepare and organize operating and safety information
  • understand which pages and campaigns bring people to our website, and measure and improve our marketing
  • keep our website and service secure and prevent spam, fraud and abuse (for example with Google reCAPTCHA)
  • comply with the law, enforce our terms and protect our rights

We do not use fleet data from a customer's connected systems to market to that customer's drivers.

How we share information

We share personal information only as described here:

  • Service providers. Companies that work for us under contract, such as our CRM and marketing platform (HubSpot), website and application hosting, email and communication tools, analytics, and security services like Google reCAPTCHA. They may use the information only to provide services to us.
  • Advertising and analytics partners. If we turn on analytics or advertising tags from partners such as Google, Meta and LinkedIn, they may collect information about your visit through cookies and pixels. See Cookies and tracking and Do Not Sell or Share.
  • At a customer's direction. For example, when a fleet customer chooses to share information with its insurance agent through CoRun.ai.
  • Legal and safety reasons. When required by law or legal process, or to protect the rights, property or safety of CoRun.ai, our customers or others.
  • Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

We do not sell personal information for money.

Cookies and tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to make our website work, remember your choices, keep the campaign link you arrived from during your visit, and understand how the site is used. Our CRM may set a cookie that connects your visits to a form you submit.

corun.ai uses the HubSpot tracking code, the LinkedIn Insight Tag and the X Pixel to measure visits and ad performance. These may set cookies. You can opt out through your browser settings, and through your LinkedIn and X ad settings.

Your choices:

  • Use the cookie settings link on our website, when available, to accept or reject non-essential cookies.
  • Block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work, but some features may not.
  • Turn on Global Privacy Control (GPC) in your browser. We treat a GPC signal as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for that browser.
  • Opt out of interest-based ads through the Digital Advertising Alliance (optout.aboutads.info) and the Network Advertising Initiative (optout.networkadvertising.org), and through your Google, Meta and LinkedIn ad settings.

Some of our forms use Google reCAPTCHA to tell people from bots. Its use is subject to Google's Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy) and Terms of Service (policies.google.com/terms).

Calls, texts and email

If you give us your phone number, we may call or text you about your request, such as to schedule a demo or finish onboarding.

  • We will not send you marketing text messages unless you have agreed to receive them. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.
  • Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
  • Reply STOP to any text to stop receiving texts from us, or HELP for help.
  • We do not share your mobile number or text-messaging consent with third parties for their own marketing.

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any email. We may still send you messages about your account or a request you made.
